Using the mind as a mirror is such a powerful concept! 至人之用心若鏡, 不将不迎, 應而不蔵 reject nothing, welcome nothing, respond but not store.

It is! The metaphor always comes back to me when I feel emotions arise or the mind pulls me in different directions.

living humbly and in stillness while moving rightly and rising. 76 is one of my favorites. There is a trust in things unfolding as they are meant to and participating to shine light. As the world has gone so heavy on the yang, I find that the nurturing, gentleness, consistent movement in a direction creates a foundation of strength. Love the paradoxes. love the contradictions. hahaa. it's what helps us keeps us not knowing. so we stay open to for the wisdom.

Wonderful thoughts! Really like the way you understand it. You are aware, you can see. For me, it's really in hindsight, in moments of reflection, that I can see the wisdom from the text presenting itself to me. Sometimes, it makes me feel Lao Tzu is smiling and saying, "ha, now you see. But do you really see?"

"Living humbly and in stillness while moving rightly and rising." Totally resonate with this! Thank you, Megan.

seriously our ancestors are hysterical. They say the most ridiculous riddles and just sit there and wait in eternity with a ridiculous grin... like wait for it. wait for it. Bang. every time. layer after layer. Like. guys. can you just tell me? NO...... it's for you to find out.

I tend to use use the ING form. becom-ing aware, heal-ing. be- ing it's never done. it's not a finished state. is always always always in progress. So I'll never be aware. hahaha
